All of our technicians have an Inter-Provincial ranking which means they scored high on their certification exam. We make every effort to hand pick the best talent in the industry.

Jay

Has been operating a successful auto service business in Waterdown since 1980. He is a graduate of M.M. Robinson High School in Burlington, a graduate of Mohawk college and a A.S.E. Master Technician (The highest ASE ranking).

"We are committed to personal service as opposed to volume, a customer deals with the mechanic who is working on their car, not a service advisor. After all, our best asset is a satisfied customer."

By cutting out the middleman Jay ensures that customers get first-hand, accurate information about their auto repairs.

While Jay offers good, old-fashioned service, he and his staff continue to enroll in courses for ongoing training with ACDelco as well as satellite, college and CARQUEST courses. This keeps them prepared to deal with current innovations in the service industry which is important since today’s vehicles are now equipped with sophisticated electronics.

Hobbies:  Custom cars, auto racing, drag racing our company mascot (More info) and family activities.

Liz

Born in Burlington and is a graduate of Nelson High School. Liz is married to Jay and they have 4 children, Jeremy, Doug, Juliette and Laura.

Liz enjoys line dancing, driving her Firebird Trans Am and most of all, being with her family and friends.

Cindy

Jay’s sister and has observed his interest and ability to repair cars from a very young age.  In addition to working at Jay’s Auto Services, Cindy has owned her own successful office cleaning business for over 30 years.

For the past 24 years, Cindy has lived in Waterdown with her husband and their two children Melissa and Brian.

Jeremy Hughes

Jeremy is Jay’s oldest son. Attended college for mechanical engineering. Is currently a 5th year apprentice Has spent the last 4 years working in the high performance industry building and tuning some of the fastest corvettes on the planet. Currently apart of 2 Pro mod drag racing teams. Car making 3000hp and running the quarter mile in under 6 seconds at 245mph.

Dave 

Licenced mechanic since 2007. Dave worked at GM dealership for the past 8
years. dave races and builds figure 8 racing cars. He also rebuilds old
tractors and trucks.
 

Jeff

Jeff is a Class A Licensed Technician (Inter-Provincial) and received his certification in 1995. Jeff specializes in electrical and computerized engine controls, but is proficient with all areas of automotive repair and service.

Jeff has lived in Waterdown since 1988 with his wife and 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys family activities.

Don

Don is Jay’s brother-in-law and has been restoring classic cars with Jay for over 35 years.

Don is married to Cindy and when not working on cars, is very active with fitness training and martial arts
